| The Burlington Township Police Department
instituted a program to alert our residents and businesses of
suspicious activity in their neighborhood in 2004. Bulletins are
sent over the internet to a resident's email address. The
intent of the C.O.P. program is to notify the resident or
business so they may be on the alert and report any information
that might assist in solving crimes. Instructions are included
on the bulletin for reporting information that might help solve
the crime. We are not asking our citizens to be police officers,
but just the eyes and ears for us so that we may be more
effective in serving them.
To join our program, all you need to have is an email address
where we can send you bulletins. You will be responsible to
check your email daily to see if any new bulletins are received.
If you would like to share the bulletins with your neighbors who
do not have access to the internet, we encourage you to do so.
