Burlington Township has successfully implemented a Reverse
9-1-1 system, which is a telephonic notification system utilized to notify residents in the event of an emergency or to disseminate important information.

Reverse 9-1-1 drastically improves lines of communication to targeted groups of citizens or businesses within Burlington Township. It is an effective communication strategy for rapidly notifying residents should there be a time of crisis, such as a natural disaster, severe weather, or hazmat spill. In addition, urgent information concerning serious crimes occurring in our community can be rapidly communicated to the effected neighborhoods (i.e. robberies, burglaries, or vehicle thefts).

Currently, we can only contact residents who have a listed home telephone number.
