Lt. Wayne Maver

Lt. Wayne Maver was hired as a police officer in Burlington Township on August 8, 1988. In October of 1995 he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant where he was assigned to the patrol division. After serving 7 years with the patrol division in charge of squad 4 he was promoted in 2002 to the rank of Lieutenant where he served as the Operation's Commander until 2006. From 2006 through 2008 he served as the Administrative Lieutenant and in 2009 he was reassigned back to Operation's Commander. Prior to his service with Burlington Township he was a New Jersey State Correction's Officer from 1985 until 1988.

Lt. Maver is a graduate of the FBI national Academy's 211th session, the West Point Command & Leadership Program among other supervisory management programs. During his time with Burlington Township he has served as an Adopt-a-Cop, Field Training Officer and is a past Vice-President of FOP Lodge 84.
