Officer Profile - Sgt. David Brintzinghoffer

Sgt.
David Brintzinghoffer began his law enforcement career
in our department as a Police Officer on August 8, 1988. Sgt.
Brintzinghoffer served in the Patrol Division until 2000, when he was
assigned as one of the original members of our Street Crimes Unit, which he
helped develop into an effective pro-active unit. In 2002, he was assigned
to our Detective Bureau. During his career with our department, he has
served as an Adopt-A-Cop, Honor Guard, Field Training Officer (FTO) and is a founding member of the
Bicycle and EMT Unit. He was also the department’s Officer of the Year
in 1995 and 2003. From 2007 thru 2009, Sgt. Brintzinghoffer was assigned as
a Patrol Sergeant. Sgt.
Brintzinghoffer grew up in our community. He graduated from Holy Cross High
School and attended Burlington County College where he received an
Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. In 2009 Sgt. Brintzinghoffer was
assigned as Community Resource Unit Supervisor and is the current EMT Unit
supervisor.
