Officer Profile - Sgt. Deanna Kozub
Sergeant
Deanna Kozub joined the Burlington Township Police Department in 1991 as a
Data Machine Operator and in 1992 became a Special Officer Class I. In 1995
sergeant Kozub became the department’s first female Police Officer. As a
Police Officer, Sgt. Kozub has served successfully on the bicycle unit, EMT
unit, Adopt a Cop, and as a Field Training Officer and PT Instructor. In
2004, Sgt. Kozub became the first woman on the Burlington County Joint
Tactical team until she was assigned to Burlington Township’s Detective
bureau. Sgt. Kozub was promoted to Sergeant in 2006 where she currently
serves as a patrol Sergeant and supervisor of the Special Officer Unit. Sgt.
Kozub has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from LaSalle University
and has completed West Point Command and Leadership as well as levels 1, 2,
