Officer Profile - Sgt. Richard Sullivan
Sgt.
Richard Sullivan was hired as a police officer on February 23, 1998. Since
then he has served in the Patrol Division and on multiple occasions was
assigned to the Street Crimes Unit. In 2007 he was assigned as a Detective,
and in February, 2008, he was promoted to Sergeant. During his career, Sgt.
Sullivan served as a Field Training Officer, EMT, Adopt-A-Cop, was assigned
to the Bicycle Unit, and represented the department when he was assigned to
the Burlington County Gang Task Force. Sgt. Sullivan is also a Police
Training Commission Certified Instructor and has served as an instructor at
the Burlington County Police Academy. Sgt. Sullivan is currently assigned as
a Patrol Sergeant and is the supervisor for Squad #1. He also supervises the
