Supervisor – Sergeant Michael Gollnick #61
Sgt. Gollnick has been with the
department since 1997. He is a graduate
of Burlington Township High School. He
then earned a baseball scholarship to St. Joseph’s University. Mike has served on the Honor Guard Unit,
Adopt-a-Cop, FTO, Traffic Safety Unit, Street Crimes Unit, and Bicycle Patrol Unit. Mike enjoys spending his time off with family
and friends. Mike’s hobbies include
dining out, golfing, watching Philly sports (ugh) and vacationing with his
family to Disney World and the beach.
The
Support Services Bureau is responsible for providing logistical, technical, and
material support to the other functions within the police department. Contained within Support Services is Police

Police Records
The Police Records Bureau is
responsible for fulfilling the records function of the police department. Tasks
associated with this function include data entry; the filing, maintenance, and
retention of police department records and reports; and responding to requests
for information.
Fleet Management
Support Services is responsible
for maintaining the police department’s fleet in conjunction with dedicated
mechanics employed by Burlington Township Public Works and/or other appropriate
outside vendors.
Currently, the BTPD fleet is
comprised of:
- 20 front line patrol vehicles
- 15 vehicles outfitted for
admin/investigation bureau functions
- 2 pull-behind trailers for traffic
control and incident command, including a 2018 Ford F-150 for towing purposes
- A message/sign board
- A 2019 Gator used for off-road
incidents/details, parades, and school events
- Several police mountain bikes
utilized by the Bicycle Patrol Unit
Material Support
Material Support includes the purchase, issuance, maintenance, and inventory of uniforms, equipment, and supplies. Facility management also falls within the purview of Material Support, to include the holding facility.
