Group Crisis Intervention Training

      

The Burlington Township Police Department will be hosting a Group Crisis Intervention Training Course presented by Crisis Intervention International, LLC.  This training will be conducted by Chaplain Dan Schafer.

"The 'Group Crisis Intervention' Course is designed to specifically teach crisis intervention and emergency mental health skills such as demobilizations, defusings and critical incident debriefing. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to: Define Stress, Critical Incident Stress Management and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; List the 10 basis interventions of Critical Incident Stress Management and Define and Describe in detail the Critical Incident Stress Management Group processes of Demobilizations, Defusings and Debriefings."

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Location: Burlington Twp. Fire Department, 1601 Burlington Bypass, Burlington, NJ 08016

Cost: $220 (includes refreshments, workbook, contact hours & certificate)

This course is accredited by The University of Maryland Baltimore.  Participants will receive 13 contact hours or 1.3 CEU's.  The course is also certified by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.
