The mission of the Burlington Township Police Department is based on a commitment to the community through the incorporation of Integrity, Service and Respect

INTEGRITY

This is the foundation and the pride we feel as we strive to deliver a level of service measured by the highest standards of our profession. We hold ourselves accountable for our actions and take pride in our profession.

SERVICE

We provide a multitude of services, the basis for which is rooted in our inherent responsibility to uphold and enforce the law, maintain order, and protect life and property. We are dedicated to providing these services to the community in a courteous and efficient manner.

RESPECT

We exhibit and understand ethnic and cultural diversity and treat all persons in a dignified and courteous manner, both in our professional and personal lives.

We guarantee to uphold the principles and values embodied in the Constitution of the United States and the State of New Jersey, and to protect without question those individual liberties they provide for.

Upon joining the department, members will carry out this MISSION diligently, courteously and with pride in service they provide to the residents of Burlington Township.
